Through the Innov’up program, the Île-de-France Region and Bpifrance support companies with an innovation project at all stages of project maturity: from the research concept to pre-industrial clinical demonstration.
Peters Surgical was able to benefit from this funding for research on a bio-sourced haemostatic glue. This environmentally friendly innovation from green chemistry is now at the applied research stage in collaboration with the “Institut de chimie et procédés pour l’énergie”, “l’environnement et la santé (ICPEES)”, a joint research unit under the joint supervision of the CNRS and the University of Strasbourg (France). More than 500,000 euros will be invested to accelerate work on this 100% Made in France green glue. This will also lead to the creation of highly skilled jobs at our headquarters in the Paris region.
